Modern Slavery Act Statement
Fiscal Year 2026 | BrinksGlobal
This statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (and equivalent global legislation) and sets out the comprehensive steps that BrinksGlobal has taken during the financial year to ensure that slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking are not taking place in any of our supply chains or in any part of our business.
1. Organizational Structure and Supply Chains
BrinksGlobal is a global logistics and freight forwarding enterprise operating in over 150 countries. Our supply chains are inherently complex, spanning across multiple continents and involving thousands of subcontractors, ocean carriers, airline partners, trucking fleets, and warehousing providers. We recognize that the logistics and transportation industry carries inherent risks regarding labor exploitation, particularly in regions with weaker labor protections.
2. Our Policies and Zero-Tolerance Approach
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. To enforce this, we have implemented:
- A comprehensive Supplier Code of Conduct that explicitly prohibits forced, bonded, or child labor.
- Mandatory anti-slavery and human trafficking clauses embedded in all vendor and subcontractor contracts.
- A robust Whistleblower Policy that provides a confidential, anonymous hotline for employees and supply chain workers to report concerns without fear of retaliation.
3. Due Diligence Processes
To identify, assess, and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain, we employ a multi-tiered due diligence process:
- Risk Mapping: We utilize third-party risk intelligence tools to map our supply chain and identify high-risk geographies and commodity sectors.
- Supplier Audits: We conduct regular, often unannounced, social compliance audits of our high-risk subcontractors, particularly in the areas of trucking, last-mile delivery, and overseas warehousing.
- Corrective Action Plans: Suppliers found in breach of our Code of Conduct are required to implement immediate corrective actions, or their contracts are terminated.
4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
We measure the effectiveness of our actions using the following KPIs for the 2026 fiscal year:
- 100% of new Tier 1 suppliers screened for modern slavery risks prior to onboarding.
- 95% of identified high-risk suppliers audited against our Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Zero reported incidents of forced labor within our direct operations.
5. Training and Capacity Building
We believe that awareness is the first line of defense. During the past year, we provided mandatory modern slavery awareness training to 100% of our procurement, vendor management, and operational staff. This training equips our teams to identify the red flags of human trafficking and understand the correct reporting protocols.
6. Approval and Sign-Off
This statement has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors of BrinksGlobal. It will be reviewed and updated annually to reflect our ongoing commitment to eradicating modern slavery from our global operations.
